Comparison

Running a guesthouse on spreadsheets versus NeoSuite

A spreadsheet works for a few rooms until the first double booking, the first MIRA query or the first payroll month with withholding tax. NeoSuite replaces the booking sheet, the tax workings and the payroll file with one system that posts once and reports everywhere.

When is a spreadsheet still fine?

A couple of rooms, one channel, one person, and no staff on payroll. NeoSuite's free tier exists for exactly that property when it starts to grow.

What breaks first?

Availability. The moment a second channel is added, the sheet cannot know a room was just sold elsewhere. Second is tax: a MIRA query asks for the base of every return, and a sheet rarely keeps it.
